Silent Scream Poem

This is a poem about the tragedy of the American Abortion Holocaust. The same is true for any nation that allows or promotes or enforces the abortion of unborn infants.
Silent Scream
They said it’s alright,
They said it’s okay,
The supreme highest court in the USA;
Now many people below,
Say it must be so,
And they’re killing little people before they can grow to know…….
The joy of life,
The light of day,
Loving arms,
A chance to pray/play,
Why did we take their rights away?
We’ve got to turn it around today!

We’ve said it must stop,
We’ve said it’s not right,
Oh but it’s time now to stand up and fight this good fight;
We must walk out the Truth,
Cause we’re the salt and the light,
So be strong in the Lord and the strength of His might……
Let us be strong in the Lord and the strength of His might……

Stand up for the helpless,
Speak out for those too young to speak,
Rescue them from destruction,
Can you hear their Silent Scream……
Will you hear their Silent Scream……
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh,
Rescue them from destruction,
Hear their Silent Scream!

Yes, Lord Jesus!!

Background: I was involved with a Pro-Life group in Ft. Wayne, Allen County, Indiana for a number of years (1989-1993). After our first rescue at the Webster Street abortuary (we were arrested for our peaceful, prayerful, non-violent presence to save babies from violent execution), the Holy Spirit began to move in my mind/heart and the song “Silent Scream” was born! I have the music and will finally soon record it.

Our Saviour Jesus Christ abolished death and bought life and immortality to light through the Gospel. 2 Timothy 1:10
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a testimony unto all the nations; and then shall the end come.
